Bloomberg is like Apple’s default Stocks application. . .only an extremely advanced version. Not only does it let you track your stocks and the different stock markets, but they also give you up to date financial news articles.
When you first open the application you are given a list of news articles. Touch a title of an article and you’ll be taken to the article itself.
Bloomberg also lets you track each the stock exchanges from around the world.
Touching ‘My Stocks’ at the bottom will bring you a list of pre-configured stocks. You can delete and add your own stocks to this application exactly like you would with the default Stocks application.
Touching one of your stocks brings up the details of that stock. You can see the highs/lows here, a mini graph, and the most recent news article for said company. Turning the device on it’s side here will bring up the Full graph for that stock. Here you change the graph from 1 day all the way to 5 years.
While this app is a bit harder to use than the standard Apple Stocks app, those in business will appreciate the wealth (pardon the pun) of information it offers, which is much more than that offered by Stocks.
The new version coming out will have the ability to send messages.
I was told by bloomberg that this application is not out yet actually? Apparently you are only able to receive messages but not follow stock yet?
Can anyone verify this for me please? And if you can download it then where do I do this?
