Bomberman Touch is the next in line to be reviewed. For $7.99 I was expecting more. . .but maybe I just don’t appreciate the franchise. I was happy with the controls even though I ended up walking back and forth around a corner right into a bomb I had just set. After a good 30 minutes of playing you get used to the controls and really start to get through the levels.
To control the guy you touch the screen. After you touch the screen it shows 4 arrows. One above, below, to the left and to the right. So after you touch the screen, slide your finger/thumb where you would like Bomberman to go.
The controls are OK, as long as you can keep your thumb or finger away from Bomberman or enemies(so you can keep an eye on them).
One thing about this game is that it’s heavily story driven. It takes at least a minutes before you even get to some game play(especially if you’re actually reading the text). This might add another ‘level’ to this game for some. . .I just found it as an annoyance.
During the game(about the 3rd or 4th level) you’re given a choice as to how you want to enter the Temple. Picking the front, you’ll be given dialog about ‘oh how brave you are to charge right in’. Or if you pick the back, it’ll be like ‘yea, that’s smart to sneak in through the back’.
