This is a full motion video Texas Hold’em game from Apple Inc. themselves. This graphics for this application are awesome and it uses the accelerometer throughout the game(to switch between 1st person and birds eye view). This game also supports up to 9 players in ‘WiFi Multiplayer’ mode.
Switching between views is easy with a turn of the iPhone or iPod Touch. Use this mode to check the bets and totals between you and the other players in that specific hand.
The controls are quite intuitive but then again if you don’t learn about them, how are you supposed to do them? The tutorial is done is ‘panels’ that you can scroll through. You Fold by sliding your cards to the center of the table. . .You go All In by sliding your chips to the center of the table. The controls are very similar to this.
As I mentioned above, the graphics are just stunning. They integrate the video and the background very well.
This app rocks! For $5 it is one of the best games out there, and it’s from apple so it’s nearly guaranteed to work perfectly.
After I first synced this to my iPod and I tried to open it, it crashed. But after restarting the ipod and trying again it worked and has worked ever since
i got this message a few times:
the application “HoldEm” could not be opened
but i just restared the ipod and it was fine. brilliant game well worth the money highly recomended

I got worried at first
I installed HoldEm on my ipod touch (Version 2.1.1 – 5F138) but it keeps crashing only after playing for less than 20 seconds. Any ideas how to fix this? Will uninstalling and re-installing help?
