Any ‘best apps’ list is debatable just like any game review score is. At least these lists are provided by Apple and use the download stats to officially rank them.
There are 2 lists and Apple ranks the top 50 for each list.

You can also find these links at the top of the page called ‘Top 100′. These lists are updated daily and show if each application moved up or down from the previous day.
I love how the lists include the changes from the day before.
this is cool but it is just like an online listing of the app store how it is on the ipod touch but good site
