This application lets you stream the entire AOL Radio library to your iPhone or iPod Touch.
The player gives you a pause button, a volume slider, and some details about the artist and the song.
Pick from over 25 genres, and over 200 stations. They even include about 150 from CBS Radio giving you local radio from around the United States.
Find a favorite station or song that you like? Save either the song or station in your Favorites tab for later reference. Touching a saved station will take you right back to that station. Touching a saved song and you’ll be asked if you want to get that on iTunes or AOL Music.
Much like the Favorites list you also have a tab for the things you’ve listened to recently. In case you forgot to add a song or station to your favorites, you always have your most recent songs/stations in this tab.
Works as described in the itunes description. This app lets you listen to the streaming internet radio via AOL. While I haven’t used this app all that much, it deserves your download because it’s FREE and it does what it says. Personally I use last.fm, but that’s because I’m cooler than you.
This is a really good app if your into internet radio. Personally, I like just listening to my own music, but if you want radio, this is really well implemented.
FYI, the app does not allow you to play the streaming radio through the dock port when attached to iPod-docked stereos. For example, my B&W Zeppelin won’t play the streaming radio through my iPod Touch 2G.
AOL–>fix it!
@Steve, I agree that is very lazy of AOL. . .no surprise there though
