Compass Free

Apple iTunes

Compass is a free compass for your iPhone and iPod Touch. This uses a unique way to figure out which way is north(only works in the daylight), but it is very clever.

Touching the small ‘i’ at the bottom right shows you instructions on how to use the application. As you can see, put your finger in the middle, and rotate until your shadow matches the line.

“softwear” is kind of lame, but “spelt” is brilliant… especially when you make fun of someone else’s spelling (or should I write “spilling”?)

    Cute, though…

Looks like a cool app, but think I’ll get a 3Gs with the digi-compass soon.

And although this has nothing to do with the article…. ‘spelt’ is WRONG.

Spelled is the past tense of spell, hence the ‘ed’ at the end of the word.
Spelt is “an ancient wheat (Triticum spelta syn. T. aestivum spelta) with spikelets containing two light red grains”

You meant (or is it ‘meaned’, lol!!) to say “You spelled software wrong.” I know it sounds like ‘spelt’ when you say it, but it’s actually spelled s-p-e-l-l-e-d.
