Platinum Sudoku gives you millions of grids to play for hours and hours and hours. It comes with 6 mini-games and over 5 levels of difficulty. They also have a hand recognition with your finger/thumb(instead of typing in the number). Don’t forget about the exclusive Sudoku X mode where diagonals come into play!
This game comes with challenges to make you think about Sudoku in a way you didn’t before. . .Pair Match, Shuffle, Subtract, and more.
Games so advanced they give you a 3 different types of hints that you can use(only once) anytime during the game.
A Coach mode(in the options) gives even the not-so-great Sudoku a chance to learn the game.
I own 3, yes 3, sodoku games on my ipod touch. Why? Because I enjoy paying money to different people for the same thing. I must say though, that this is the best one. The price isn’t a deal breaker and there are enough features to keep you happy. EA sudoku would be great if they let you play your music in the background, and Sudoku unlimited would be the best if it let you do kakuro and X sudoku, but this does, so it’s the best.
@T3ckno, thanks for those notes. I am not a fan of Sudoku at all. . .yet there seems to be soooooo many available.
I just have no way to gauge which ones are better than others(besides the user interface)
*Just updating my previous review.
Kakuro is awesome, and this is the ONLY game in the app store that has it. This game is now only $1.99 so there’s almost no reason not to get it if you like sudoku and want to try your hand at other things like kakuro.
