This is one of the coolest applications around. This used to be called ‘Listen’ and was available to Jailbroken iPhones. What you do is hold your iPhone near anything that is playing music. Touch the ‘Tag Now’ button and then let it sample the song. After a few moments it returns the results telling you the title, album, artist, of the song.
Sadly this doesn’t work on the iPod Touchs(even with the touchmods microphone) so I couldn’t fully test this applicatio(sorry!).

i think this app is great, easy to use and has everything built into it! It can find any obscure song give you the name of the artist and song title, a link to a youtube video, and loads of other stuff! this is definitely a MUST have app
This is a pretty cool app, but personally I like Midomi (better user interface) better. This one does work pretty well though and does identify songs with a pretty good success rate.
Great app! Works even with background noise!
This app is amazing. It is SO useful. It works quickly and I have never had it come back without the name of the song. Plus I like that it has a link straight to the song in itunes so I can buy the song right away.
