To kick off the new review/rating system I would like to celebrate with a contest.
What to do? Each review(with a rating) will count as 1 entry into the contest. How long do I have? This contest ends Friday September 5th.
I am encouraging everyone to go back and rate as many applications as they want. The more entries into the contest you have, the better your odds of winning will be.
Note - Ratings without reviews will not count Note - Reviews without ratings will not count
I ask that you please be honest in your reviews and your ratings. There are over 125 applications reviewed here so far so everyone can get plenty of entries.
Go tell your friends! If the contest goes well I just might break out a 2nd and 3rd place prize.
This is a great idea, and the implementation of the itunes gift card will get many a user reviewing unreviewed items. Well done Doug.

SWEET!! Very good promo and marketing idea. I’m enjoyng the site. It will be nice when it grows a little and has more participation…which shouldn’t be long at all :) Cheers!
I like the idea of this site. But think the site’s design could be more usable. For example, the categories list could be in a bubble so that i wouldn’t have to scroll so much. Also I feel like the free app catgeory should be on the main menu – since free apps are something people like more and the site’s footer should me more detailed
