With a firmware update Apple fixed a huge problem with deleting(and moving) bulk emails. Now easily move or delete as many emails that the application can list.
When you open the email application you should see an Edit button at the top right. Then you’ll see the emails shift to the right with some spots that you can check on the left. Check the ones you want to delete/move and then touch the delete/move buttons at the bottom.

SOOOOO Redundant!!! THAT is NOT a MASS DELETE! That is an individual delete done over and over! A mass delete would be to “select all”, and then “delete”. I just got my iPod, and it wants to download all 1,500 emails sitting in my gmail account, and I’m sitting here TAPPING EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM in order to get them deleted! Please don’t tell me you can’t see the stupidity at work here!
