Showtimes is an application that locates you(if you let it) and then shows you the closest theaters to you. The only thing this application is missing is trailers, movie posters, and ordering tickets.
Besides showing you which theaters are close to you, Showtimes also has a couple other ways to sort movies. List movies by popularity, critic ratings, and even newest released.
This is a pretty good app and is definitely better than some of the other movie apps available. What really makes this one good is its integration with other iPhone apps such as Google Maps.
After Box Office got pulled, for some reason, I was looking for a good movie app that would give me all the info on my local theaters. Showtimes is a good app, but Box Office is back, it’s now call “Now Playing”. Both of them do what they need to do. They are both great! Showtimes is great for getting all the movie info you need.
The new Showtimes allows you to buy tickets and it has trailers and posters, too. It’s awesome!
