Space Invasion brings the classic arcade game ‘Space Invaders’ right in the palm of your hand. Keep your eye open for power-ups and other hidden features.
Sadly this application only lets you control it via the ’soft buttons’. I mean I guess the left/right control is the best way to do it. . .but I think being able to shoot by touching anywhere on the screen would be better.
I also think that accelerometer controls would be great in a future update too. Not that I would personally use it. . .but for the price you should get more features.
This is an O.K. app but it really is brought down by a price that I find to be just a little bit steep. It is pretty fun, but I don’t think its quite fun enough to be worth 4 dollars, maybe 2 or even 3 but not 4.
I’m hoping that this app will get an update that makes it MUCH better, because right now it’s pretty not good. It’s not terrible, but I agree that the price is too high for the quality of this game. But if you’ve gots to get your invader on, then this app should tide you over until something better comes along.
