    I got this app when it was first out. I use it every day. It is a great resource for serious dictionary look-ups, word histories and referencing. As a writer these are essential.

    Plus the appendicies in the About section are fantastic. Indo-European roots etc. A fully fleshed out reference title.

    The graphics are a nice addition as are the pronunciation files.

    There are lots of throwaway apps on the App Store. The American Heritage dictionary is a keeper.
