The iPhone isn't a wii controller that you can pick up for $30 and has a strap to prevent it from going flying. The iPhone is going to set you back $400 to replace should you break it in the first 2 years, has no strap, and is significantly harder to hold onto than a wiimote anyway (glass and aluminum vs plastic molded to fit a hand). Trying to play the game as intended doesn't work that well, leaves you distinctly uncomfortable with it, and you can't see the screen while playing ...
