People have described the iPhone as the ‘next generation of mobile gaming’, and although it has a lot of potential there are few games to actually prove this statement. So far most of the games that are fun, have no depth or they’re graphically impaired. . .some games look great, but aren’t any fun to play. I think it will take a while before we get some really good original games. . .but until then I think we’ll see some great ‘ports’ of previous games as well as refreshing some older game ideas with the iPhone’s touch screen controls and accelerometer.
Today I want to give you a sneak peak at a game from Tag Games that promises to
be the closest iPhone gamers will get to the GTA experience
The game is called Car Jack Streets, and is scheduled to be released in the iTunes App Store in January/February of 2009. I wish I had more screenshots of the game. . .or even more details of how the game will play. But I do have a couple of screenshots(thanks Paul).
