Motion Pool is a billiards game for the iPhone and iPod Touch that utilizes either the touch screen for gameplay, or the accelerometer and the touch screen for gameplay. You also get to play either 8-ball or 9-ball. . .and you can play against yourself, your friend, or the computer.
The touch screen controls works by just flicking the cue ball in the direction that you would like to shoot it. The bad part about this is that you don’t have very poor accuracy when you play this way.
The motion controls make it easier to aim the ball. . .but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. It’s not the simplest thing in the world to balance the ‘aim line’ exactly where you want it. You can only play this way when the device is level. . .but this way you actually get to see where you’re shooting.
