Thief Alert will sound off alarms when someone tries to pickup/steal your iPhone. It comes with 9 backgrounds or you can pick your own to use. Just enable the application(so the background is showing) and the alarm is set.
You have to enable the application for it to work. . .and you can’t lock the device while it’s active(for it to still work). But at least they give you the ability to set your own background.
This is a great application if you work with people that just can’t(or don’t) respect your property(especially if your iPhone is a prime target for pranks).
Sadly this doesn’t work with the 1st generation iPod Touch. I mean it does work, it’s not like you’ll get a bunch of errors. But without the speaker to blare the alarm. . .it’s basically pointless.
