Beejive was the first company that released an iPhone version of their web client. . .I remember using it when the iPhone first came out. The only downfall to this application, when compared to SMS texting, is that you must have the application open for you to get an IM. But it’s great when you get an SMS message, only instead of responding via SMS, you can just open up BeejiveIM and talk to the person who sent you the text.
This thing downloaded fine to my iPod Touch but wouldn’t run. Froze up after I built my AOL AIM account. Wouldn’t let me add buddies, change to any other function etc. Tried everything and e-mailed the company. Still waiting for a response from them.
