Lettera brings back old school writing with an old fashion ‘Italian style’ typewriter. Some writers say that it’s very hard to enjoy writing now that everything has switched from the typewriter to the keyboard. Now you can bring back that feeling. . .and do it all from the iPhone/iPod Touch.
If you have an iPhone(or are have the earphones in with your iPod Touch) then you’ll hear the typewriter sounds just as if you’re typing on a typewriter. You can choose the style of the paper if you want to. . .mimicking grid paper, lined paper, legal pad, cardboard, etc.
After you’re done typing, the text shows up on the paper like an image. You can use the multi-touch to zoom in and scroll around just like any other images.
The typewriter goes into landscape mode to make it easy to type. . .but with the letters so small it’s worse than doing it on the standard iPhone keyboard.
