Rising Blocks is a cross between Bejeweled and Tetris. The goal is to match 3 of the same color blocks before the blocks rise so far to the top that you lose the game(like Tetris). The unique part of this game is the way you move the blocks.
To move a piece you touch it and then slide it to the left or right. That is the limit to how far you can move it though. . .just left and right(not up or down). You can make the block drop by pushing it off the ledge, but that’s as much as you can do. That’s where the puzzle part of the game comes in. Since you can only move it left/right you’re constantly looking for blocks all over the board to match up.
Rising Blocks comes with a bunch of different game modes(5) to keep it interesting. One mode is called Puzzle, and that mode alone comes with 50 different puzzles for you to solve. The Multiplayer mode is local/WiFi only but is still very fun to play against your friends.
Rising Blocks is one of those casual games that you can pick up and play for 2 or 3 or 4 minutes and then you’re done.
