HT Professional Recorder is a premium voice recorder for the iPhone. This is the voice recorder if you want to record from a distance(or like an office meeting or college lecture) and actually want to understand it when hearing it. It comes with 3 recording modes so you can record up close or far away.
Technically it will work on the 2nd generation iPod Touch but I’m not sure how well with the external microphone. The audio is great and depending on the background noise can be very clear. The only feature I’m missing from this application is the ability to email audio recordings.
They do include a great WiFi server that lets you connect your web browser to the application and download the recordings that way. . .but even gmail supports email attachments as big as 15MB(maybe even 20MB). Other than this email thing, it does seem to be fully featured. They even include a way to bookmark certain audio clips that you want to find qiuckly, and they also have a feature to speed up and slow down the way your voice sounds.
I paid $9.99 for this app and it works just like the one that cost $0.99.
A LITE version of the program is available, so that people can try this at no charge. It is called HT Lite Recorder. Set it in ‘Auditorium mode’ and stand 10 feet from the phone, talking normally. Compare to your existing recorder.

I tried this app an I personally don’t like it, I prefer other recorder application that is only $4.99 and is way better than this one
I’m a musician, having the HT recorder ready to catch my thoughts for songs lyrics or chord changes is the answer to my creative prayers, when and idea hits, you can loose the initial feeling looking for a pen and paper, your phone recorder is ready with the push of a button, its the best !!
Actually it is good,but I have the problem with transfer recorded filed from Iphon to my notebook ( windows). Someone can help ?

I seem to lose my recorded files, and can’t open it through itunes, what is wrong with the app. please revert back.
I find this application really good. So far it has never let me dowm. I work on sensitive corporate level’s upper management team and very often take it with me to the office, to the councel’s office for meetings and also I find this app absoultly fantastic when it come to my 5 year old Teacher-Parent Meeting for later reviewing. However sending messages over WIFI is not easy, and I have still not figured out how to do that. I tried every thing. Well thats just one (-), otherwise I would highly recommend this app.
