StockWatch combines the usefulness of the original Stocks application with the ability to manage a portfolio, watch mutual funds, indexes, and more. A lot of people think Apple skimped out by not giving the Stocks app portfolio functionality.
Some people would say that StockWatch is the answer to this missing feature. Some people are disappointed because they are unable to find specific mutual funds(ones that are listed in Bloomberg). I would make sure you check the exchanges supported before expecting to see your quote in the system.
The only thing I didn’t like about the application is that it seems to load slow. It’s like the data loads first, then a pause, and then the template loads and makes it look how it’s supposed to. This tends to get really annoying after you start to use it a lot.
