iHourglass is a virtual hourglass that is used just like any other timer. . .except that iHourglass gives you a visual take on just a regular timer. You can pick between the default 30, 60, 90 seconds and even go all the way up to 5 minutes. If you need a specific custom time then you can do that as well.
You can use the default hourglass or you can use 1 of 9 styles that comes with the application. The only thing I didn’t like about this is that you can go and pick a specific one. Instead you must scroll through them one at a time until you find the one you’re looking for. Having the ‘Change Hourglass’ button would do better if it went to a page where you could pick the style you want.
The animation is very nice. You would think that the longer the timer is, then the more sand they would use to fill the hourglass. Actually it only slows down how fast the sand falls(timing it out exactly to the time that you set).
