iFlipClock Plus is a classy, retro looking flipclock that not only animates just like a real old school flipclock, but also mimics the sound(when you turn that setting on).
Going into the settings is pretty self explanatory. . .you just touch the clock. To get out of the settings page and go back to the clock. . .touch the circle in the middle that says ‘flip’.
The animation of the flips are turned on by default, but they turn off the sound for some reason. Going into the settings you’ll see that you can turn this on for the seconds, minutes, and/or hours. Here you can customize the time format, portrait/landscape modes, AM/PM, and more. A nice touch inside the settings is the dial for the dimmer, instead of just setting 1, 2, or 3. . .you mimic twisting/turning the dial.
iFlipClock Plus comes with multiple skins(45) included, and the developer promises to add more in future updates. A ‘keep active’ mode prevents your device from going into standby mode while the application is open. You can also set the colors for the numbers, and even set the different numbers(hours, minutes, seconds) to different colors.
