Simply the best dictionary for iPhone.

I would like to know whether this dictionary works only on iphone or any other phone like Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson. If so please specify the model nos. and what is the procedure to install this dictionary. Iam seriously looking for this kind of dictionary on my phone, I will be grateful if you can give me the details. Thank you and awaiting your reply.

Advance English Dictionary (AED) is a good dictionary. But for the price, there is better value, WordBook English Dictionary & Thesaurus. With the same content (WordNet database), WordBook has more features that AED don’t have: audio pronunciation, etymology, spell check, crossword solver…
The interface is slick, easy to use. I even use WordBook much more than other brand name dictionaries I got ( I owned 4 dictionaries including AHD and Oxford).

I’m sure this is the best English dictionary for mobile devices. The word coverage is excellent, apart from the ‘normal’ English words it also contains extremely rare words and expressions, dates, biograpy, geograpy, medicines, diseases, technical words and so on. It’s almost an encyclopedia. The related words (more specific, more general words for each result) feature is sooo unique and useful. I’ve never seen this feature in other dictionaries so far. And the user interface is simply beautiful. It’s highly recommended! 5 out of 5 stars.
