PasturePool Golf lets you track and monitor your Golf score at any of the major Golf Courses. Using a database of (I assume) hundreds of courses across the country or simply add your own ‘custom’ course to the database.
A great feature included in this application is the ability to synchronize your data into your PasturePool account. This way you can see your progress over time. I’m not sure of the features that are included in their website account(or if it costs money or not), but the application comes with an offline mode so you don’t have to use that feature if you don’t want to.
When you setup a game it will ask you for the name and location of the course. They do this so that they can get the par data(and other misc data) for each hole. But as I said you can add your own if they don’t include yours. This takes a little more time than just jumping into the application but it’s not bad at all.
The strengths of this application is not in the design. . .but more in the functionality. While this is a very useful tool if you’re an avid golfer, it won’t mean much to many of the iPhone owners.
