THTouch is a Texas Hold’em game for your iPhone and iPod Touch. Play against 6 other players in game after game of some great poker fun.
THTouch relies entirely on gesture based controls. So to bet you have to do a gesture, to fold, call, raise, you all have to do a gesture on the screen to activate it.
While using gestures is a great way to exclude buttons(which can take up screen space). . .you have to teach your customers how to do it. The developers could include a brief(1 minute) tutorial showing a ‘virutal’ hand on the screen doing the gestures as they describe them for you.
Instead, the developers tell you to go to their website. . .which take you outside of the application! This really shocked me too. I mean the developer obviously put time into the overall design of the game(because it looks great). But they don’t do this small, yet integral feature.
