Dynamate is a puzzle game that challenges you to maneuver the color balls around the level, matching them with other color balls to make them disappear.
The trick is that you just can’t match up any color balls. . .and you can’t just match the same color balls to make them disappear. The trick is to follow the color code located at the bottom of each level. You must read it left to right. So like in the first level, the green ball must be pushed against the blue ball. If you push the blue ball into the green ball nothing will happen. This rule is enforced on every level, so don’t get confused.
This game was very fun and very challenging(in the higher levels). There are 30 levels in total, and currently I am stuck on level 13(so if you hate games that you get stuck on, this isn’t for you).
The only issue I had with the game was the controls. To move a ball you have to touch the ball, which highlights the ball with the cursor. After a ball is highlighted, then you can swipe your finger/thumb anywhere on the screen to move it. If the ball touches a blank spot on the screen(like an empty border) then the ball disappears and the game is over. . .which adds another layer of difficulty to the game.
I would imagine the best control scheme for this game would be the ability to just move the balls with one swipe(without having to highlight them). But I imagine they do this to prevent you from picking another ball(since they are very very small balls to move). They could fix this by making the balls bigger. . .but then that would take away from the size of the levels(which makes it more fun).
