I have been a subscriber to this blog for a long time now and have repeatedly had an issue with your rating schema.

Why do you rate applications that cost more than a dollar or two so poorly in the price category? To me a great drawing application that does exactly what it should do well is easily worth $5. As an iPhone owner and an avid Colors! user I find that giving Colors! a poor rating based on a slightly higher price than most of the other apps in the store is not a good practice.

As an app store reviewer, you should give apps that shine in their individual categories some flexibility and give them the respect that they deserve when they ask for a slightly higher price for quality.

You should also include in your review the fantastic gallery features and keep in mind that a lot of the enjoyment of this app is seeing what other people have made.

Quality apps are simply worth more and at $5, this app is a steal.
