What we have here is a clone/spin-off of the very popular mobile game Angry Birds where the goal is to control this Tank character and try your best to make the monkey explode. There are multiple types of ammunition to shoot at the monkey, some similar with small tweaks and some that just act unique. There are some things that separate it apart from Angry Birds(which is good), but there are some things that it lacks as well.

The story and the characters in this game are not it’s brightest spots, so lets just focus on the gameplay.

As you can see in the screenshots, on the left side you have your ammo for the current level in the game. Then you’ll see your tank(that’s you) and on the far side of the screen is the monkey you must destroy. Scores are based on how much ammo you have left along with other factors(like maybe impact) affect the score you get for the level. Each level is different and there are more than 25 levels to challenge you(currently they’re at 30 levels I believe). There is some replay value with trying to get a full 3 stars from every level(I wish I had more details about the scoring system).

You must click your ammo to ‘load it’ first. and then you can put your finger anywhere on the screen to set the angle, force, etc. You can move your finger around and the ‘scope’ will follow your finger which is nice. Each time you aim again(after your first shot) there is a ghost image of where you last aimed and shot. This is very helpful for adjusting for your next shot. This can feel like the easy button sometimes and would be cool if it was a feature you could disable in the settings(like hardcore mode or something), but for the casual players it’s a welcomed feature.

There is a ‘coming soon’ panel in the game which makes me hopeful that the developers will keep the game up to date. Maybe add some new levels every few months or something that will continue to give the game value instead of just a promotional panel for the sequel. It will be nice to follow this game as they continue development on this title.

The game is very satisfying when you finally figure out a puzzle and I would highly recommend that anyone a fan of puzzle games check it out. However, this is not the game that will have you stumped for days on end trying to figure out a puzzle. Personally I had more issues just lining up the shot than figuring out what I needed to do. Maybe that’s where the challenge comes in?
