iTunes U is a free service through the Apple iTunes application that enables colleges and universities to provide free courses to anyone who wants them. iTunes U’s new K-12 education section provides content to students and teachers. State and county education departments offer content on iTunes U to post-secondary education at over 800 universities worldwide, and 15 states in the US provide K-12 learning tools.

How does it work?

It’s straightforward to navigate iTunes U. You just need to download the free Apple iTunes application on your computer (either a PC or a Mac). On the toolbar across the top of the main page, select iTunes U. You can sort through courses by school, subject, most popular, or noteworthy courses on the main page. After you’ve downloaded course materials, you can use them in any manner you like. Lectures, videos, PDFs, and entire books are all available. After downloading the course material, you can learn at your own pace and use your computer, iPad, or iPod touch.

Advantages of iTunes U

  • iTunes U works the same as the other iTunes sections and is simple to navigate. You won’t need to learn how to use a new program or application if you’ve ever used iTunes to download music, TV shows, movies, podcasts, audiobooks, or anything else.
  • There is no denying the fact that iTunes U has an extensive range of resources from hundreds of trustworthy sources. With iTunes U, you can find what you want, whether a course or something comparable.
  • There are numerous occasions when students simply do not bond with their college professors. You may better grasp the material if you study using iTunes U.
