digg_url = 'http://digg.com/apple/50_Free_iPhone_Apps_from_the_App_Store_Black_Friday_Sale'; I normally go through and pull just any application that has recently gone on sale. . .but for Thanksgiving, I went through and grabbed all the applications that used to cost money. . .but are now FREE to download. Using the iPhone and iPod Touch as a legitimate developer platform was something we had all begged Apple for since we first got our hands on it. Apple swore up and down that they had no plans of ‘opening it up’ and letting 3rd party applications be installed. This was so huge that developers, in their spare time, decided to come up with a system to distribute applications onto the device....
Update - I added another tip, bringing it to 9! There are hundreds of new applications be released into the App Store every week. With more and more success stories from iPhone Developers, there seem to be an increasing number of people trying to get their own slice of the pie. Because of this the quality of the applications in the App Store have started to decline(it’s inevitable). Below I would...
Some of you may have noticed me using a stand during my video reviews for past week or two. This was recommended to me by Cali Lewis of iCali.tv and she talked about using this stand in the video reviews. After saving up I picked one up(with an extra holder for the iPod Touch), and I must say I am satisfied with the product. Now when I do the reviews I don’t have to hold the device so it is...

Instead, Cracked iPhone Application ‘packs’ are popping up everywhere. Read More →
There is no question that the 2.0 firmware for the iPhone and iPod Touch isn’t what 1.1.4 was. Apple expected this, but that was the point of not allowing 3rd party applications at the launch. They wanted to hammer out the bugs with the App Store and do it proper. Reboots are one thing but there has been more reports of users having to restore their entire device. I have had to do this. . .Adam,...
Simply amazing. When the App Store was launched they only had 500(I think) apps, 150 of them were free. Congrats developers. Now Apple has announced there are well over 1,000 of them. Dozens of applications are being released each day. . .and it seems like there are even more updates. That means we have a lot of catching up to do, no? Currently we have done just over 60 reviews since our launch but...
Any ‘best apps’ list is debatable just like any game review score is. At least these lists are provided by Apple and use the download stats to officially rank them. There are 2 lists and Apple ranks the top 100 for each list. Best Free App Store Apps Best Paid App Store Apps You can also find these links at the top of the page called ‘Top 100′. These lists are updated daily...
